Tesla delivery inspection
We'll Get You the Perfect Tesla
It's no secret that Tesla has quality build issues, but did you also know that many new Teslas being delivered today are coming with such imperfections like deep scratches, large dents, doors not closing correctly and wheel rims with curb rash?

It's true, that $60,000 "brand new" car of yours might not be as new as you think.

Never fear; that's where we come in.

Professional Tesla Inspections

We can help prevent the delivery of a damaged or imperfect Tesla, so you don't drive off with a future problem on your hands.

We will conduct a thorough interior and exterior inspection of your new Tesla, before you sign off on it.

If we detect any unacceptable imperfections in or on the car we will document them and fail the inspection.

Once failed, the vehicle will be returned back to Tesla in order for the imperfections to be fixed at no charge to you.
A NEW CAR SHOULD LOOK NEW, RIGHT?
Unfortunately, that's not always the case with Tesla. More than any other car manufacturer, Tesla has long been heavily criticized for the way they deliver new cars to its customers.

Thousands of complaints can be found online from current Tesla owners frustrated and furious that Tesla delivered a damaged car and refuses to fix it for them.

Don't make the same mistake they did. Have your Tesla professionally inspected.

Call us today and we will make sure Tesla repairs any and all damages found on your new Tesla, before you take it home!
OUR INSPECTION COULD MEAN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A

Without a thorough inspection from us, you could sign off on a vehicle with a host of problems you could easily have missed. Our trained and experienced eyes assure you no stone will be left unturned when evaluating the quality of your new Tesla.
COMMONly REPORTED ISSUES WITH NEW TESLAS
SCRATCHES, GASHES AND RASHES - OH MY!
Paint Scratches
Numerous complaints abound for what can only be called a gross negligence in the handling and delivery process of new Teslas - paint scratches. From rock chips to large scratches, Tesla has a huge problem with keeping their new cars scratch free.
Seat Gashes
Think those new leather seats will be free of blemishes or defects? Well, it's not too uncommon to get a Tesla with puncture holes, gashes, rips, tears or blemishes on one of the seats, which you will have to look at every time you get in the car.
Curb Rash
Imagine walking up to your new Tesla and seeing curb rash on one of the tire rims! This is not an uncommon sight since many new Teslas have to be driven to their final location to be picked up by the customer and accidents do happen.
Paint Defects
Another common complaint is imperfect paint jobs on Teslas, such as uneven application, paint drips or runs, orange peel texture, and color mismatches. You might even notice buffing swirls from the detail center that was hired to touch up the car before delivery.
Large Panel Gaps
Some Tesla vehicles have been noted to exhibit larger-than-expected panel gaps, particularly between the doors, hood, trunk, and fenders. These gaps can vary in severity but may detract from the overall aesthetic appearance of the vehicle and lead to concerns about build quality and road noise.
Misaligned Trim
Exterior or interior trim pieces may not be properly aligned with surrounding components or do not fit flush against the vehicle's body or interior surfaces. This can include misaligned door handles, window trim, dashboard panels, or other decorative elements.

WARNING:
IF YOU ACCEPT DELIVERY OF A DAMAGED TESLA
IT MIGHT BE TOO LATE TO GET IT FIXED FOR FREE
If you think Tesla will follow through with free repairs after you have taken possession of your vehicle, you may be in for a big surprise. They will often claim the damage was caused after you drove off the lot, leaving you to prove otherwise.

TYPICAL RESPONSE FROM TESLA:
Such a scratch would have easily been noticed by one of our field agents during one of their walkarounds and documented for repairs. I don't have any such documentation on file. I'm sorry but Tesla would not be responsible for the repair since you already signed off on the car during delivery.
Accepting your Tesla without our meticulous inspection could mean unknowingly inheriting a host of issues that could end up costing you out of pocket to fix. From minor cosmetic blemishes to critical structural defects, the potential risks are too significant to ignore.
DON'T PAY ALL THAT MONEY FOR AN IMPERFECT NEW CAR
WE WILL HOLD TESLA RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY NEGLIGENCE DURING THE DELIVERY PROCESS
Tesla doesn't operate like most car manufacturers. They don't have dealerships, but rather showrooms.

These showrooms are stocked with very few cars and are only there to show you what the car looks and feels like. You won't find a sea of Teslas on any car lot in Florida ready to be sold.

Instead, all orders will be done online and then later delivered to you.

It is during this delivery process where most of the problems occur.
FOUR WAYS A NEW TESLA CAN GET DAMAGED:
Transportation
It all starts with the transportation of new Teslas. The first dents and scratches usually occur here, during the loading and unloading of cars off of the trailer.
Interior Touch Ups
Many Teslas will be given a quick touch up in the interior, where unfortunately less than careful workers can causes scratches and puncture holes in the seats.
Car Wash
All new Teslas will get a full wash and wax before final delivery. This is also where more scratches and buffing swirls can occur in the paint.
Showroom Delivery
Most Teslas are delivered to a single location and then driven to the correct showroom. It is during this driving process where rock chip damage and curb rash can occur.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't I just do this myself?

Sure you could and many people do, but there comes a huge advantage when choosing us to accompany you:

TOO EXCITED
This is a big day for you and your emotions will be in full swing. You are not under the right frame of mind to do an inspection. You could easily overlook something that we won't and it will be an eye sore for as long as you own your Tesla.
PROFESSIONALS
We've been doing this for a while and know exactly what and where to look. We're very familiar with Tesla's delivery mishaps, so our trained inspectors can ensure that your new Tesla meets the highest standards of quality and is free from any defects or imperfections.
THIRD PARTY
As a third party inspector, our unbiased inspection carries weight when it comes to getting repairs done in a timely fashion. They know since you hired our services that you mean business and will try to accommodate you further.
MORE TIME
Tesla field agents are trained in reducing the amount of time you get to spend with the vehicle and will pressure you to quickly accept delivery without giving it a full inspection. With us there, they usually let us do our thing.
INSPECTION REPORT
We give you a detailed report of the inspection, with all the visible evidence you can use whenever you need it. If we fail the inspection, but Tesla still tells you they will take care of everything later, you will have an official report to reference online and to submit to Tesla. The inspection report can also be used in court should the need arise.
Don't I get 100 miles to file any claims with Tesla after delivery?

If you feel confident that Tesla is going to fix every scratch or dent that came on your brand new car after you've signed off on it and driven away, good luck!

The fact of the matter is Tesla will simply deny most of your claims on the basis that the damage happened after you took delivery of your vehicle. Without our report, how can you prove otherwise?

Also, any large panel gaps will be denied based off of their approved specification levels. And we've seen panel gaps you could fit a finger in that were denied repair because the gap was "within spec".

You can take that chance if you want, but why risk it? You're dealing with a multi-billion dollar company that is trying to cut costs as much as possible these days and denying repair work is one way they are accomplishing that goal.

What's the big deal if a panel gap is slightly larger than it should be?

While from a cosmetic standpoint panel gaps may not seem like a big deal to you, they will once you get on the highway and approach speeds of 50 mph. This is when you will start to hear wind noise coming from that panel gap.

Whistling and high pitched noises have been observed by current Tesla owners who accepted delivery of their Tesla with a wide panel gap and now have to live with it.

Maybe you can just turn your radio up louder and no one will notice.

How long does an inspection take?

Our inspection will take about 15 minutes.

Do I need to be present during the inspection?

Yes, you will need to be with us during the inspection. If the inspection passes, you can accept delivery of your Tesla and drive away.

In some cases, if the Tesla doesn't pass inspection, you will still be able to leave with the Tesla (after you accept delivery), but will be required to return at a later date to get the defects repaired.

What happens if the vehicle fails inspection?

If the vehicle fails inspection, the inspector will advise the field agent of the defects and request a repair. A couple of things could happen at this point:

The vehicle will be taken away to get fixed. You will be called back at a later date (usually a couple of days later) to pick it up.

Or

If the damage is too much to fix, they may assign you a different car with similar features and color.

Or

You will be asked to accept delivery of the Tesla with the contingency of some repair work to be done at a later date. This is why it is crucial you get a full report of the damages before you leave, so they can't say it happened afterwards.

Tesla said I could not inspect the inside of the car until after I've accepted delivery. Won't they deny you entry as well?

This is another reason why you need us there. We have never been denied entry into a Tesla for a delivery inspection. Our inspectors are well known in the South Florida area and are always given the white glove treatment. They know we will fight for you and not back down.

How long does it take to get the inspection report?

You will get the official report later on that same day in the evening.

When are you available to do an inspection?

We are available to do inspections 7 days a week from 8:30AM to 7:30PM or dusk (whichever comes first). We are closed only Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We do not inspect at night or in the rain.

Where are you available to do an inspection?

We can inspect from Fort Lauderdale all the way to Vero Beach. Pretty much all of the Treasure Coast and most of South Florida (excluding Miami for now).

Screw you! I'm doing it myself and saving the hundred bucks.

Okay. That wasn't really a question though, but if you do decide to go it alone, at least see our Tesla Inspection Checklist before you do, so you can be better prepared.
